Born in Kakopetria, Nicosia, Dr. Loizou began his academic journey in 2003 when he graduated with a scholarship from the School of Dentistry at Kapodistrian University of Athens, achieving a DDS degree as a Dental Surgeon. Following this, he pursued a three-year postgraduate program at the Orthodontic School of Tel Aviv University in Israel, supported by the Bert Levin Foundation scholarship. Dr. Loizou successfully completed the program in 2006, earning the title MSc in Orthodontics., signifying his specialization as an orthodontist.

Passions Beyond Orthodontics:
Dr. Loizou is an avid collector. His passion for handmade knives puts him in a respectful position in the world of Knife Collectors. Appreciating the precision and craftsmanship that parallels his approach to orthodontics, he started about 35 years ago with a Swiss Army Knife collection and has since expanded to German, Japanese and American handmade knifes. In the past he held the position of Secretary of the European Swiss Army Knives Collectors Society (SAKS). In his free time, Dr. Loizou enjoys the company of his wife and their two children.
